1John3:9 says, "Whoever is a child of God does not continue to sin." But we, weak and human as we are, tend to easily give-in to temptation.

"I don't do the good I want to do; instead, I do the evil that I don't want to do." [Romans 7:19]. Like the great saint, we too might say, "What an unhappy man I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is taking me to death?”

Thanks be to God, who does this through our Lord Jesus Christ! [Romans 7:25] Once we have accepted Jesus as the Messiah, our personal Lord and Saviour, we are freed from the slavery of sin. He suffered for our sins & won for us a New Abundant Life with Him forever. Now He gives us the grace and strength that gives us victory over our weaknesses.

For the sake of His Son, Jesus, Our Creator forgives us & arms us with grace and power to resist temptation. Thus living as Jesus did, one can see oneself --- a true Child of God!
