Philippians 4:13
"I can do all things through Jesus Christ who strengthens me."
In today’s competitive world there is a constant pressure to perform and excel not in just one aspect but in all facets of life. As children there is a constant pressure to perform in academics, feature in other co-curricular activities, maintain a good and charming personality and often there is no room for failure. In an attempt to pursue all of this we at time tend to fail to look after our spiritual selves and excel in all aspects at the cost of sacrificing our time with God.
But can we really do everything? The power we receive in union with Christ is sufficient to do His will and to face the challenges that arise from our commitment to doing it. he does not grant us super human ability to accomplish anything we can imagine without regard to His interests.
As we contend for the faith we will face troubles, pressures and trials. As they come let us with confidence ask Jesus Christ to strengthen us.
